We give herewith as requested a list of the special features which will be incorporated in this car:- Petrol Tank etc. Larger capacity than standard, i.e. 26 galls. Larger diameter filler with quick release cap in new position on the tank. New petrol gauge because of larger tank. Strengthened petrol tank fixing to cater for the increased weight. Possibly a stone guard will be required for the petrol tank. Reserve petrol tap control on the instrument board. Handwritten: EXISTING TANK TO BE FITTED TO B35 A.E. Radiator. Stone guard in front of shutters. Handwritten: FITTED BY US N.Sch 3706 shews bolt through Scarpold. Extra engine oil tank, with provision for replenishing the engine sump from the extra tank whilst the car is in motion. Valve spring holding down tool - to enable valve springs to be changed quickly in the event of failure. Engine. Handwritten: Standard Lead bronze bearings. Handwritten: Bigends only. Special camshaft for increased power Aerolite pistons. Special cylinder head giving a compression ratio of 7.35 to 1. Gearbox. special gearbox with ratios to suit racing conditions; this involves a slightly modified gearbox casting, new gears and one special bearing.
