Water, oil, and petrol pipe unions. - Special locking devices, to prevent these unions working loose.

Mixture control. - Modified locking of control pins. Present split pin locking is not satisfactory as regards wearing qualities.

Accelerator. - Modified in order that the brake and accelerator pedal can be operated together.

Wing Stays. - Made in spring steel instead of mild steel.

Exhaust system. - Special straight through system with one expansion box at the rear to conform with the regulations.

Hartford shock absorbers. - Front and rear in addition to RR.hydraulics. eC. 4011

Road Springs. - Unlubricated and bound with cord to increase internal friction.

Rear Axle. Road Wheels. - Special high gear ratio. 11.41. [handwritten] latest thrust race [/handwritten] [strikethrough] special large diameter on the rear to increase top speed gear ratio. 4500 r.p.m. at 115 m.p.h. [/strikethrough]

Speedometer. - Special calibration to suit axle ratio and large road wheels.
