To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} +4707 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}11/KW.12.12.34. Graham Blower. We have now completed 10,000 miles on this blower. Will you please strip for examination and also estimate as far as possible how much wear has taken place. With regard to the gears we are running on the test bed, we are still convinced that the low speed rattle comes from the supercharger drive and not from the timing case. We should therefore like you to order some 2 to 1 ratio gears from the American suppliers with a view to getting some comparisons. These will of course be the opposite hand to those supplied with the Graham, but we have now had sufficient running to know that they are about the right gear ratio.
