Test valve springs obtained from firms
who are both steel and spring makers,
such as Poldi X. 74

Mr Royce remarks in his memo
R8/B26213 re the above experiment as
follows :-

"Surely it is not a long job to order
"a few dozen springs from half a dozen
"makers to the same model of the best
"steel."
