To B.J. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to F.N. c. to C.M.B. X7250 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/LGM.9.26. TESTS ON OVER-HEATING IN FRANCE. X766 With reference to F.N's suggestion that the probable reason that 8-EX could not be made to boil on the Alpine Passes was due to the position of the fan being altered. We should like to point out that 8-EX fan was in the standard position and the radiator is identically the same as that which has been fitted to all Phantom cars. On 12-EX car, the engine and the fan were 1" nearer the radiator matrix. This was done partly to enable the pedals to go forward and economise space. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
