RR 238 (150 BKS.) (DB{Donald Bastow - Suspensions} 461-8-12-24) MP 306975 X6005. ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To EFC. Order No. AD87 Customer's No. X 6005 20/25 Dynamo 1.241 HC from 18 G.V. This machine has run 13330 miles on the car in France, in conjunction with a "two rate charge scheme" (full charge with headlights on only) and is reported to provide adequate output for the running conditions and otherwise to be satisfactory in running except that the brushes became noisy after warming up. On examination we have found the insulation OK, & all brushes well polished except that the control brush has a slight dark line along the trailing edge. The brushes themselves are very slightly sticky in the holders; the holder units are tight. Several of the commutator segments are rather burnt. (Contd) Signed This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
