REAR WHEEL CARRIERS. X.7600 X.8600

As you know R.{Sir Henry Royce} has not accepted the 20 HP. type carrier on EAC.10.

Recently you sent a report criticising the std. Phantom type on the ground of lack of rigidity and inaccessibility of the handle for tightening up purposes.

As we shall have to go into this whole question with R.{Sir Henry Royce} probably as soon as he comes back, we should be very much obliged if you would confirm either your previous report, or let us have any further remarks you may wish to make.

It will be remembered that when we were in Derby it was arranged to increase the thickness of the body rail tube with a view to increasing the rigidity. We should be glad to know whether any good was done by this.
