Regarding the appearance of the dummy shutters, there is a most noticeable fault. When viewed from directly in front at some distance, the matrix is not visible between any of the shutters except the middle two, which show a strip 3/8" wide. This gives the effect of a chromium plated front with a vertical black strip down the middle, and is most unsightly. The standard shutters when viewed from in front, show either no matrix or else, strips of equal width according to how far open they are. This gives a balanced and sightly appearance in either case.
