Messrs.Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

Dear Grylls,

Many thanks for your letter, and as mentioned on the telephone this morning, the 1937 8-cylinder Studebaker which you tried, and is, I believe, an ex demonstration car, is still for sale at £230.

They do not appear to be greatly interested in your offer to buy the car on a re-purchase agreement. They much know more about you than I thought!

However, if it is of interest, let me know and I will do the best possible, although I don't think we shall get the price down much, as this was after considerable debating.

If necessary, we can afterwards, sell the remains on your behalf!

Hoping you have a good holiday,

Yours sincerely,
F.{Mr Friese} Manning
