Correspondence regarding experimental battery and dynamo parts fitted to a 20 HP car for Mrs Percy Cox.

It would appear that through an oversight this Car was despatched to London fitted with two Experimental Pieces, i.e. the Battery and Dynamo, the former being a P & R. {Sir Henry Royce} 6. Compartment moulded cell case battery 3b. and the latter an R.3. Dynamo with annealed copper commutator. Would it be possible for you to confirm if these parts are still fitted, as we do not appear to be able to trace them at the Works, and we have a record that they were fitted to this Car when it was used for Transport purposes. If these features are still on the car, we may ask you to make arrangements for the Car to be sent to 'N' for ordinary standard parts to be fitted, but as to this we will advise you definitely later.
