4 but we are at the moment completing data & on many engines as we can including most of the aero engines and the whole series will be laid out on one chart which should give a fairly good history & driving performance. With regard to all the above and in view of the necessary time required to do all that requires to be done we think another test bed could be usefully employed more or less whole time on this job. there are several points on which we require information and tests. ① Nelson Bohnalite Pistons ② Semi-Split & T slot Pistons ③ Comparison of (a) Full Split Piston (b) Semi-Split Piston (c) T slot Piston (d) Original 4 1/4 litre Aerolite (e) Present 4 1/4 litre Aerolite on all these competitive tests for power, bedding Knocks, oil consumption, seizing tendency & the effect of various ring arrangements. | ||
