Willesden,
London, N.W.10.

Dear Sirs,

Re Enclosed Limousine for Chassis 240.G.

We are now able to send you information to enable you to complete the front end of the dummy chassis for the above car, including the front wings, side wheel carrier, bonnet and radiator.

We suggest that you make the radiator in wood; complete dimensions for the radiator are given on Lc.C. 5032, sheet 1. There are 14 shutters in the face of the radiator and the effect of these on the model can be obtained by planing. You have already received sufficient information to enable you to make a dummy bonnet in sheet aluminium as you have done on previous model chassis. A kneeling lady mascot should be fitted.

The front end of the frame, which on the dummy chassis need not conform exactly to that of the final car for simplicity's sake, is shown in pencil on R.Sch.4850 herewith.

The front wingstay is shown on LcC.5187 and this should be built up as a template attached to the side of the frame, and a tube representing the head-lamp and horn support on each side should be fitted on the mock-up so that we can hang up a set of head-lamps and horns.

The bonnet rest angle is shown on LcC.5202 and this should be improvised as a flat strip of wood running between the radiator and the dash-board, and on this piece of wood can be marked out the holes and the line of the wing valance attachment.
