| To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} +312 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}1/KW.21.5.35. SpectreCodename for Phantom III Clutch. We want to try a heavier flywheel in a SpectreCodename for Phantom III car as we think it will help to eliminate the crankshaft period and also reduce chunking in the gearbox. We send you herewith Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1975 showing how to add sufficient inertia for an experiment. Unfortunately the part added to the flywheel only amounts to 1/4 of the total. The extra ring is therefore necessary. This latter means making a new clutch pit. The shape of the flywheel is in accordance with the plasticene model you made for us. You will notice we suggest making the flywheel a steel forging instead of having a separate starter ring. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} | ||
