Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 28th April, and note that the failure was due to over-tightening of the nut at the bottom of the filter. The filter had been removed and in order to cure a slight leak, the nut was probably pulled up too tight, with the result you have pointed out. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE, LIMITED.
