Y393 TELEGRAMS: "PYTCHOCARS LONDON" TELEPHONES: WELBECK 4102-3. THE PYTCHLEY AUTOCAR CO LTD MOTOR ENGINEERS & AGENTS 201/203 GREAT PORTLAND STREET USED CAR SHOWROOM 222 GREAT PORTLAND STREET LONDON W 1 1st January, 1929. JAW/EM. PLEASE QUOTE Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., Nightingale Lane DERBY. [STAMP: RECEIVED JAN 2 29] Dear Sirs, We have pleasure herewith in enclosing a pamphlet on our Patent Sliding Roof, and we feel that this proposition should be of interest to you. The Public to-day is showing great interest in a two-purpose car of the saloon type, and our Sliding Roof incorporated in saloon coachwork, in our opinion, is the ideal Sunshine Saloon, the reasons being you get all the light and fresh air required without draught to the passengers; it can be opened and closed in a second whilst the car is in motion; is of excellent appearance, and so simple in construction that it requires no service or attention, and is water-proof and free from rattles. Furthermore, owing to its simplicity, it can be manufactured at a low cost. We can either supply the Components, which is the Roof complete ready for fixing into the coachwork, or you can manufacture the Roof yourselves under licence from us, and if either of these propositions is of interest to you, we shall be only too pleased to give you any further information you may desire. We do trust we shall hear further from you on the subject at an early date, as the new Season will be with us very shortly, and we are going to see a boom in Sunshine Saloons, and you will find our Roof an additional sales asset. For your information a number of the leading Coachbuilders and Car Manufacturers to-day are fitting our Sliding Roof, amongst them being Messrs. Mulliners of Birmingham, Hoyal Body Corporation of Weybridge, Gordon England Ltd. of Wembley, Swift of Coventry, A.C.Cars Ltd. of Thames Ditton, Standard Motor Co.Ltd., of Coventry, etc. Yours faithfully, for THE PYTCHLEY AUTOCAR CO, LTD., Manager.
