To Soar Free Esq. re 10,000 Miles - SPS/ELR.3.30
Copy to HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 10/25 HZ.

I see from the last report that the car has run about 8,000 miles so that it will not be very long before it has completed 9,000 miles.

The question, therefore, arises as to who will run the car for the last 1,000 miles, which is usually done by Sales.

FH will still be away on another job and Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} was asking the other day who could take it over in his absence.

I think it would be a good idea to bring in some of the people who went out to France last year in connection with the P.II tests.

I suggest, therefore, that we should bring it back to England at the end of 9,000 miles and arrange for officials such as SP{Mr Spinney}, BX, JLE{J. Lee Evans - Chassis Test Manager}, and if possible Dr. to use it for the period in question.

Please let me know if you agree.
