Dear Bill,

I am sending you a copy of a letter which I have written to Conduit Street.

No doubt you will be able to form your own opinion as to how much is serious, and how much is pulling their legs. Actually I think the performance is very satisfactory, but the springing is in need of improvement. I also find that when you put the brakes on hard terrific screeches come out of the back wheels, but not the front. I suppose you have all the front braking on that you think desirable.

The increased acceleration seems to me to be more marked on top than on the lower gears. To what extent is it safe to allow the revolution counter to go into the red on top?

Yours sincerely,

Richard.
