Dear Sirs,

I have had an opportunity of a prolonged trial of the two Bentleys which were supplied last week to the Mr.Rollasons.

The performance of the car is certainly a great improvement on the 3½ litre.

The weak point of the car now is springing, which does not compare favourably with the latest type of independent front wheel springing. I notice also that these cars suffer from the same defect as last year's model, that is that it is unpleasant to apply the brakes hard when travelling fast on a bad surface. I also notice that when the accelerator is fully depressed there is an audible rumble from the engine, rather like the noise that emanates from a diesel.

The lines of the body, in my opinion, are not as graceful as last year's, which, in turn, was not as pretty as the first body.
