The dispatch of new stiffened type headlamp crossmembers for two specific chassis following failures.

With reference to Sr/VA.7/ET.23.4.36. in view of these two failures, the brackets which are fitted at each end of the headlamp crossmember are now being strengthened, and a modification is being incorporated in production chassis at the earliest possible moment. It is considered advisable to fit the modified parts on these two chassis, therefore will Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} please arrange to despatch two new cross members as soon as they are available in the Works.
