RE: STIFFENED TYPE CROSSMEMBER OF LAMP CROSSMEMBER.

CHASSIS B.66-EF. MR. F.{Mr Friese} LANG.
CHASSIS B.130.EF. MR. JONINON.

With reference to Sr/VA.7/ET.23.4.36. in view of these two failures, the brackets which are fitted at each end of the headlamp crossmember are now being strengthened, and a modification is being incorporated in production chassis at the earliest possible moment.

It is considered advisable to fit the modified parts on these two chassis, therefore will Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} please arrange to despatch two new cross members as soon as they are available in the Works.

The piece numbers of the parts in question are as follows :-

FB.2533 End Socket 2 off.
FB.2535 Headlamp Crossmember 1 off.
FB.2534 Assembly of Headlamp Crossmember.
