LUBRICATION OF CLUTCH SPIGOT.

Referring to OY3/G22.7.23 attached. We have got out a scheme which provides a means of lubricating the clutch spigot by means of a syringe. We are fitting this on to our Experimental cars.

We have no doubt in our minds, when we do this, that it would be quite safe to dispense with the automatic lubrication. We have discussed this matter with Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} and he considers it would save money on repairs.

Are you in agreement that we should recommend doing away with the present system and [strikethrough]using[/strikethrough] hand oiling?
(Note: The word 'and' is handwritten as an insertion between 'system' and 'using'.)
