To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} From E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} C. to Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} ORIGINAL. E.1/MJ.24.3.30. X1918 RE. IMPROVED K.1 K.L.G. PLUGS FOR 20 HP. When signing a standardisation sheet for the above I did not realise that these were the plugs with stepped mica insulators. Having since learnt that this is so, I have withdrawn my signature as these wrapped and stepped insulators appear to me to be a horrible invention more likely to give trouble than satisfactory service.
