I quite understand the point of having some petrol in the induction pipe as well as the spray, and it suggests that we need not use, in the other form of priming, the double chamber vessel. I think the reed valve suggested by Mr Nadin a very good one, probably the best type that could be suggested for the purpose. I feel that the device works exceedingly well and quite agree that we should protect it, as it undoubtedly appears to be better than anything else at present known.
