TO HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} ORIGINAL DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/M19.7.26. FRAMES. X8380 / X5380 In connection with coachwork it would be of interest to us to have a simple measurement on the Phantom and 20HP. frames if you could find time to do it. This is, lifting up each frame by one corner and measuring the deflection caused before the corner on the opposite side lifts. If we also could have the weight of each frame the information would be useful to us in considering body distortion. The springs should not be attached to the frame during this test, but the frame should be resting on trestles at the axle centre lines. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
