R & R battery from chassis 102-M.C. This battery was received by us from France in a partly dismantled condition. Upon being finally opened up & all the elements withdrawn, no sign or suggestion of a failure could be found. Both the positive & negative plates were in excellent mechanical condition & all the separators (wood & ebonite) were also good, in fact it is so good that it appears to be practically a new battery as no sediment was found in the bottom only what is negligible. The box was also good. If this battery has failed it could only have been through wrong bad treatment. Signed: G.J. This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
