XU 5/6 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}7/KT. July 4th 1933. Messrs John Marston Ltd., Paul Street Works, Wolverhampton. For the attention of Mr. Dalrymple. Dear Sirs, With reference to the Mark III type matrix which you are now supplying to us for our 40/50 HP. and Bentley cars, there are one or two points in which we are having a certain amount of trouble. The chief of these is that the matrices do not come in consistently square and also they vary dimensionally, the result being that we experience difficulty in fitting them up into their shells. We think the best way to remedy this is for you to send a representative to our works, when we can demonstrate our difficulties, and discuss means to be adopted to ensure than the errors are not reproduced in future deliveries. Will you kindly let us have notice of your representative's arrival, and we will arrange accordingly. Yours faithfully, S-RO{C. C. Rose - Export Manager} FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
