Re Temperature of Cooling Water.

Mr Johnson carried out a number of tests whilst on the Continent with a view to finding the difference in temperature of the cooling water with the lower part of the dashboard open and closed.

He found a very marked difference and suggests that we should immediately cease to fit the screen and leave the dashboard open.

Mr Barrington has the figures and I am asking him to publish them in the usual way.

[Handwritten]: Sent

Will you kindly do this.

I have issued instructions this morning that the screen shall be removed from those cars in our hands.
