Messrs Hardy Spicer Ltd.,
Birch Road,
Witton,
BIRMINGHAM 6.

Dear Sirs,

We have experienced some trouble on our Bentley and 25/30 cars owing to stretching and disintegration of our water pump coupling discs to E.53983 which are made by yourselves. This is partly due to oil which gets on the disc and causes it to disintegrate.

We should like to know whether you can supply us with some discs for test having oil resisting rubber casing to guard against this trouble - if you can also give us a stronger disc we should like it.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED
