To Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Sn.{Mr Sanderson} X4117 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}6/LG3. 4.29. Replying to Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}2/M3. 4.29. We shall be sending the necessary parts so that you can alter the springs in the side steering tube of 89-KR chassis tomorrow. The present springs in the side steering tube have been arrived at after numerous tests, and are considered to be the best compromise. The stronger springs which we are sending to you, although they will make the steering more direct, will be definitely worse for shocks on the wheel. This probably may not be noticed on a new chassis, but would be apparent on a car after it had run a few thousand miles. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
