To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from EFC.

EFC7/T11.10.23.

X.4383 - 20 HP. DYNAMO EXPERIMENTS.

This is to confirm that as arranged in conversation you will have undercut by the special process the commutator of dynamo No.470, belonging to chassis 6GII. Also the commutator of dynamo No.161 belonging to the old 4GII unit, and that you will then let us have these dynamos for arranging with further experiments. In the case of dynamo No.470 for 6 GII, we shall put on brushes of another composition, which we think may be better than the standard, and provide the brushes with bevelled tops for better direction of spring pressure.

This dynamo will then be handed back to you for putting on 6GII for 10,000 mile test.

The above cancels our instruction (5) contained in EFC2/T25.9.23.

EFC.
