I enclose extract from letter we have received this morning from the above customer in regard to the slipper drive of his 20 h.p. car No. GBJ-2.

Cricklewood have made two attempts at it and Derby one, and the fault still appears to be in existence.

He has made arrangements for the car to come to you when you re-open on August 4th and we have promised him that we will see on this occasion no possible effort is spare to cure the fault. Will you please, therefore, give the necessary instructions so that we do get to the bottom of the trouble and put it right for him.
You will find this same matter referred to in Inspection Report No.1152, reference AA{D. Abbot-Anderson}3/CG29.7.31.
