-2- We therefore recommend that you allow us to change the voltage regulator for a new one and also skim the dynamo commutator and re-bed the brushes as the erratic operation of the regulator may have caused the dynamo commutator to have become damaged. Also we strongly recommend you to use the screening we have suggested and at all costs avoid the fitting of any condensers to any point in the dynamo field circuit. If any further trouble is experienced, which we do not anticipate, we should consider it advisable to send one of our electrical research engineers to make a thorough examination of the whole electrical system as it would then be an exceptionally unusual case and would require careful elucidation. Trusting this will be satisfactory. We remain, Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
