To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} c. to BJ. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X.3806 DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}3/M23.8.27. CENTRALISED CHASSIS LUBRICATION. SERVO GEAR. Herewith we send N.sch.2444 shewing the centralised lubrication applied to the servo gear. It will be seen that a new bridge only is called for, but we have arranged the drillings and annulii through the shaft with a view to spreading the lubrication throughout the gear as nearly as possible as it is likely to want it. The position of these holes is liable to revision as a result of experiment. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
