PHANTOM - CENTRALISED CHASSIS LUBRICATION. = " Herewith we send N.sch. 2445 shewing the proposed lubrication for the pendulum lever ball end. Accommodation for the different angles of steering is we think dealt with by the elongated hole into the bore of the support bracket. It will be seen that on account of the serrated attachment of the pendulum lever there is a place where we are depending on the oil dripping. Should this prove to be unsatisfactory it will be possible to arrange a positive connection between the rocking shaft and the pendulum lever, but we think the simpler scheme shewn here should be tried first.
