Re: Starter Carburetter on 20 HP and Phantom I chassis.

In connection with the circular which has been sent out concerning the correct setting and excessive use of the starter carburetter on our chassis, kindly note that the following suggestion has been made by one of our clients which may be of interest :-

"Would it not be of value if the control of the starting carburetter were made to simultaneously switch on a small light on the dash? This would make it unlikely that the "turning off" would be overlooked. It would appear to be a simple arrangement to make and the light might be similar to your heat warning lamp only green or amber.
I have often thought of a similar fitment to the "Priming" device on my Silver Ghost."
