1158 Veh. Heaters Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Ed.{J. L. Edwards}2/GH.6.3.40. 3rd March 1940. Messrs. Hallam, Sleigh & Cheston, Widney Works, Bagot Street, Birmingham 4. Dear Sirs, FOR THE ATTENTION OF MR. H.A. BRINKWORTH. Many thanks for yours of the 4th instant., and we note your remarks with interest. We have carefully examined the drawing enclosed with your letter, and whilst we can appreciate its value on cars fitted with Thermo-syphon cooling, we do not feel that the additional complication, and expense would be justified on a car fitted with pressure circulation. We are, of course, still anxious to try your heater, which we shall connect to our existing cooling system, and should be very much obliged if you would let us have two heaters as requested at the earliest possible moment. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
