| To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} 323 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer}12/KW.24.9.34. SpectreCodename for Phantom III Exhaust System. The standard Phantom Exhaust Silencer and swan neck at present fitted to the SpectreCodename for Phantom III are causing an unduly large loss of power. We therefore wish to try the silencer shown on Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1526 with a swan neck and fishtail similar to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}789 and Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}790. The silencer shown on Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1526 has the same outside dimensions as the one at present on SpectreCodename for Phantom III. Will you please make the necessary drawings and construct the silencer and swan neck at an early date. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/F.J. Hardy. | ||
