Will you please make certain and report whether the 4-speed box on the 20 HP. is free from oil leaks. 9-G-111 in France is reported to have bad oil leaks from the flanges front and rear of the gearbox. We should also like to make a test with the car climbing a gradient approximately 1 in 5 and also descending a gradient 1 in 5 and see whether the oil is still supplied to the worm wheel driving the servo. This test might be done in the Shop by lifting each end of the car. We are also waiting for a correct explanation of why the change speed lever stiffens up and how this can be avoided.
