Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. EY/CS. 4308D BY/Cgh.{W Clough}9/G.8.2.35. PHANTOM 11 - LARGER CHOKE CARBURETTER. With reference to Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}17/T.5.2.35. the modified rocker cover with improved type of baffle has been instructed for production, but a certain number of the original rocker covers were cast at the time. However, we are of the opinion that an efficient baffle can be fitted in the existing covers, as per blueprint RR.Sch.825, herewith, and should be glad if you would have a rocker cover fitted up accordingly and tested. If satisfactory we would then have all rocker covers fitted similarly. In regard to the throttle closing spring, we are issuing detail drawings of the new parts required to put this matter in order. G.W.H: We should fit-this up on 28.EX. and test. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} BY/Cgh.{W Clough} | ||
