X2894 COPY W.H. REYNOLDS KEY HILL DRIVE, BIRMINGHAM. July 13th 1928. Our ref. DCD/JH/803. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd. Derby. Attention of Mr. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Royce. Gentlemen, We have further experimented with the fixing of the tungsten mounted rivets into the blades, and find that we can secure these definitely although in doing so we make a considerable percentage of scrap owing to the splitting of the tungsten. As you are aware our tungsten is 99.9% pure and from the sample you submitted to us, the tungsten appeared to be a softer quality than our own. Perhaps you can let us know whether it is of the same quality as we should very much like to master the trouble. Awaiting your reply with interest. Yours faithfully, Can you see any difference, i.e. ed{J. L. Edwards} Tungsten Mfg. Co. ? Roy{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
