3rd. July 1925.

Dear Sirs,

We are in receipt of yours of the 2nd inst. and quite agree with your remarks. We find when the Autovac is functioning, the air taken from the Autovac into the induction pipe enriches the mixture and alters the running. We have lately conducted some experiments with a Measuring Apparatus which takes in a great deal more petrol than our Standard apparatus and this trouble has been very noticeable. We have tried experiments to overcome the trouble and expected to be able to send you an improved apparatus a few days after receiving your previous letter, but it has taken longer than we anticipated. We hope to submit an improved apparatus to you during the course of next week.

Yours faithfully,
For. AUTOVAC MFG. COMPANY LTD.

Manager.
