1021 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EAG.9/EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} 4th March, 1942. Messrs. S. SMITH & Sons, Ltd., Cricklewood Works, Edgware Road, L O N D O N, N.W. 2. Attention of Mr. Nichols. Dear Mr. Nichols, INSTRUMENT FACIA SCHEME. Replying to your letter of March 2nd, for which I thank you, I have provisionally arranged to visit you on Wednesday next, the 11th instant. I think we should arrive at your place between 11.30 and 12 o'clock. I will, however, telephone you on Tuesday next, and let you know if you may expect us. I am assuming that it will take Mr. Walton about an hour to go into the various points which he wishes to talk over. I mention this as, if possible, we wish to pay Messrs. Park Ward of High Road, Willesden, a visit after we leave your place. Mr. Robotham mentioned that no provision had been made in your sketch for a cigarette lighter. As he is anxious that this item should be included, possibly you will get Mr. Walton to give the matter his consideration. I will bring the latest drawing which you left with Mr. Robotham with me, as requested. Yours faithfully, | ||
