Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. WST 86116. HQ/FHA6/HR,22.12.33. re LUCAS HEAD LAMPS. --------------------- We have received a complaint from a customer regarding the quality of the light from the head lamps fitted to his car. The lamps are the Lucas Biflex type, fitted with a special fluted glass, the centre of the glass being fluted differently from the remainder, His complaint is that the beam is flat and that objects off the ground are only well lit up to approximately three telegraph poles ahead. Also, there is very little downward beam nearer the car, so that near objects are hardly seen. We shall be pleased to know if you have had any experience of this type of lamp.
