Y4228 HY{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer}/SmaB/DB.{Donald Bastow - Suspensions}27.3.23. c. to MR. RE "GOSHAWK II" - CARBURETTER - SEC:DCDO. WHISTLING. - c/D6813. With further reference to memo HY{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer}/Man/DB.{Donald Bastow - Suspensions}13.3.23. re closing up the annulus between the spray chamber spigot and cylinder counterbore, by using washer E.82612, we understand from the Test Dept: that this thickness .068 does not cover the whole range of engines to be dealt with. We are issuing herewith a further range of washers E.82641/2/3, which should be used to bring the width of the annulus on any engine down to .010 to .025 wide. With these varied thicknesses of washers in use, it will be necessary to mark the engine number on the flange of the spray chamber, as the inter-change-ability will in some cases be affected. We attach a blueprint of E.82641/2/3 to Mr Swift's and Mr Platford's copy of this memo. BY/sm. [Watermark: DICKINSON BOWL] | ||
