CENTRALISED CHASSIS LUBRICATION. Herewith we send N.sch.2463 shewing the method of lubricating the clutch thrust bearing, and clutch operating shaft on the Phantom. It will be noticed that we have suggested a re-distribution of the piping to the front brake differential, and as in this new proposal all the points on the engine are lubricated from a flexible connection between the engine and the frame, we think it will probably be found better than the original proposal on N.sch.2446. Of the alternative ways of fitting the tube to the thrust bearing, would Derby please choose the one they can make the easiest. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
