Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,
D E R B Y.

Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. Martindale

In reply to your letter of the 18th inst, and confirming 'phone conversation, we shall shortly publish details of our hydraulic brake.

The main hydraulic load is not taken on a rubber cup washer in the master cylinder, any such washers being only to stop external leakage.

We have no cylinder of 1¼" bore at the moment, but shall naturally have a range of sizes from 7/8" upwards eventually.

We are making certain experimental modifications with a view to facilitate production, and when these have been adequately tested, we shall be pleased to send you full details and drawings.

Yours faithfully,
for NEW HUDSON LTD.,
Alex Fraser
GENERAL MANAGER.
