RE CHASSIS 32-CW - CHLORIDE CELL.

With reference to your note D/BP20/CW6.1.21, we have examined this cell and we think that the customer should be supplied with a new one without cost to himself.

As to whether the cost of this should be borne by us or the makers, this we would prefer to decide later on seeing other samples of cells which have failed in a similar manner.

We do not think anything which the customer would have done would have caused this failure.
