We send you herewith three sample studs, piece No. G.73535, material SN.{Mr Sanderson}2063. These studs have been tinned after having been dipped in acid. One stud as you will see has broken away at the end of the thread. Would you be good enough to examine the other studs and give us a report, as to whether the acid has affected the metal.
