In view of the fact that the bearing has only
been subjected to a run of 10 hours under test conditions,
we should appreciate it if you would kindly let us know
the actual conditions under which the bearing has been
put to work, namely speed and load.

Replying to paragraph four of your letter,
we presume that this refers to the unbroken outer race.
If so, we find that the crack in the centre of the race
is only local and is the result of canting.

We now beg to return the acknowledgement form
of your order R.13286 herewith completed and hope that
the matter has been satisfactorily disposed of.

Yours faithfully
THE HOFFMANN MANUFACTURING CO.LTD.
