For the attention of Mr. Worth.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 15th instant and have held our reply in abeyance, until we received the model filter which you have produced to our drawing EB.4101.

This has now been received and regarding its external finish, is quite satisfactory, but regarding the internals of the case, think it better to have this untreated. One point omitted from the drawing which we would like included on any future ones we order, is a red letter transfer on the lid{A. J. Lidsey} to read " change the element every 10,000 miles".

The model filter will be run over 15,000 miles test which is due to commence shortly.

Regarding quotations, we should like to know what your figure would be for quantities of 200, 500 and 1,000 filters complete as per the model submitted with the slight modifications previously mentioned, also the price of replacement element if bought singly or in the above mentioned quantities.

We should be interested to hear of any results obtained with the filter, other than our own tests which we have already discussed with you.

Yours faithfully,
