FORT DUNLOP ERDINGTON BIRMINGHAM Messrs. Rolls Royce Limited, DERBY. 22nd June, 1933. Dear Sirs, Attention of Mr. Robotham. Referring to our discussion at your Works on the 8th inst. and further to our telephone conversation with your office yesterday, we would advise you that we are despatching today a set of six 5.50-18 tyres to:- Mr. Hancock, Hotel de France, Chateauroux. It was suggested that we should supply a set of 6.00-18 tyres to your London House for test, but the opinion was expressed that they had not at that time, suitable wheels to fit these tyres. In view of your further remarks, we are despatching to you today, 11. 6.00-18 tyres in our modified tread pattern. These are being addressed to Experimental Department, labelled for your personal attention. A further tyre which is at present in the possession of your Lillie Hall branch, is we understand, being sent up to you by test car. We thank you for your promise to arrange to have these tyres fitted to wheels and put into service, and we shall await with interest your comments on their performance.
